Hello, I’m Dani Albuquerque.
I’m a creative leader who loves building teams as much as the work itself. Over the last 20 years, I’ve had the chance to lead across both global advertising agencies and in-house studios at brands like Google and Netflix.
In my most recent roles, I focused on building creative organizations from the ground up. At Netflix, I served in an executive creative leadership role, where I was responsible for structuring the studio and managing a multidisciplinary team of Creative Directors, Strategists, and Producers. My job wasn't just about the final output, but about defining the vision, setting the bar for craft, and creating the "engine" that allowed creativity to scale.
My ambition has stayed the same since day one: to chase creative excellence that actually moves the needle. I believe the best work happens at the intersection of people, culture, and business impact. But more importantly, I’ve learned that great work is a byproduct of a healthy environment. I care deeply about building spaces where teams feel inspired, and safe enough to take big risks.
With a background in art direction, I still bring a sharp visual eye and a love for craft to everything I do - whether I’m looking at a global campaign, a brand platform, or the organizational design of a creative team.
I’ve been lucky to partner with brands like YouTube, TikTok, Cheetos, McDonald’s, Ambev, and Nubank. Along the way, my work has picked up some awards at D&AD and Effie, and been featured in places like Adweek, which is always a nice nod from the industry.
When I’m not in "work mode," I’m usually committed to making this industry more accessible. I’ve supported diversity and education initiatives from Brazil to New Delhi, because I believe talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn't. I also co-host a podcast called “Será que Elas Existem?”, where we use art made by women to dive into contemporary conversations.
And if I’m not doing any of that, you’ll probably find me with a camera in my hand. Photography is my way of slowing down and keeping my eye sharp for the details and stories that happen in the quiet moments.
